Coming from someone that was born and raised in toronto, this is not representative of all restaurants in our fine city. I will say that eating in a restaurant in this particular area of the city is always suspect. We have many fantastic restaurants that are prestine and highly regarded. Please take the article with a grain of salt.
Of course it's not representative of Toronto! I also am a Torontonian (check my profile), so I know how many great (rat-free) restuarants there are in this city. I love T.O.!
Still it is a funny story... And I love rats...so...
