Pixar's Finding Nemo will be released on the high-definition Blu-ray disc format sometime in 2009 (presumably spring) not this coming fall, as had been previously expected, according to the website Blu-ray.com.Also of note, Disney/Pixar will be releasing WALL-E on Blu-ray this fall, at the same time as the DVD release.
On this last point, it can't be Toy Story or Toy Story 2. Both films will be given theatrical re-releases (in 3-D presentation) in 2009 and 2010, respectively. A Blu-ray release would make no financial or marketing sense. So that leaves only A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., and The Incredibles as release candidates. I suspect it'll be The Incredibles. You?

I was really looking forward to Finding Nemo on Blu-ray. Why was it delayed? One of the top 10 reasons I purchased my 1080p HD TV was to watch Finding Nemo on HD!

After seeing how vivid Ratatouille was on blu ray, I can't wait to see finding nemo....hurry up already! :)

Apart from Ratatouille, why are the best Pixar films being held back? No Incredibles, no Toy Story II? Pretty frustrating.

Delayed AGAIN until 2010. Hopefully it will actually come out then. Typical - the only Disney Blu-Ray I really want to come out keeps getting delayed...
they are probably going to plan something huge. I hope it won't cost more then 35$ friggin Pixar!
Come on allready, why can not this incredible movie be released sometimes, I mean all other movies are being re-released on bluray, why not Nemo?

I can't believe this movie, one of the best movies from Disney EVER is not out on blu-ray yet. It makes me so sad. I have been waiting for this one for a long time.
I too can not believe they haven't released Finding Nemo on Blu-Ray... I mean come on... with all those vibrant colors... Finding Nemo would quite possibly be the best candidate for Blu-Ray. So why is it taking so long? and why no real date set yet? I know it doesn't mean much but Pixar/Disney are losing cool points on this one.
maybe they are working on a 3d version for the blu ray? finding nemo would seem like a prime candidate.
