Giant Luxo lamp at night

Last week, I told you about the positively huge Luxo Jr. lamp that's been put on display outside Pixar HQ.

In my post, I unfortunately neglected to expain the fact that it's an actual working lamp, not just a model. (Lit, in fact, by 18 individual fluorescent bulbs, enclosed inside the enormous light bulb feature.)

I have thus decided to post this new photograph (courtesy of Craig from Pixar, who uploaded it to Flickr) which shows the 43ft tall lamp during the evening.
