These wonderful never before seen (by the non-Comic-Con-attending public) images of Carl and Russell from Up, as well Carl's house surrounded by development and the hand-drawn concept art, have been uploaded to Flickr.
They're actually photographs of five of the still images that were shown at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday. (Cropped and enhanced them using Photoshop.)
On Monday, the Pixar PR person who confirmed BURN-E for me also told me that the stuff presented at SDCC would not be released online. Hence, take a good look now, 'cause I might be hearing from Disney soon...

Agh! Those are freakin awesome!
I can't wait for this to come out!
I am so excited about this movie!
Nice characters! That color scene reminds me strongly of Disney's The Little House.
I love that Russell's sash has one open space, presumably for the Assisting the Elderly merit badge. So very, very clever.
I've been dying to see what Pete Docter has been up to since Monsters, Inc. This looks fantastic!
What's funny is that there is a house in Burbank not a block north of Disney Studios that is in the same situation, with a medical building and a parking garage building up all around it.
No clue what the movie is about...but I love the character design. Awesome!
Russell is awesome! He looks like they guy that did Emille's voice in Rat
It'll be interesting to see those proportions in motion though lol - at least Mr. Incredible had longer legs...
lol for sure. I'd love to see the kid try to scratch his head, take off his hat...heck...pick his nose. Short arms are a pain :P
I love how I have no idea what this movie will be about but I'm already excited! What a great brand Pixar has created.
The last one (of the city) looks like Miami, FL!
What type of colors do you use for the storyboard/concept design? They look rich:)
Who's "you"? For the umpteenth time, The Pixar Blog is totally unofficial!
the kid looks sort of like pete sohn lol
I watched a guy dressed all in black escort one of the comic-con attendees out-side due to his filming of those exact images.
The guy siting behind him was lucky enough to hide his camera.
Although very cool, I'm sure these images will be pulled shortly.
...i
This work is absolutely adorable. Love the way characters look. Can't wait to see the whole movie.. :) good luck you guys.
