Forty-five (45)

What is: Times I've listened to "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" since getting the WALL-E soundtrack back in June.

Excuse me, now, as I have to go wear a paper bag over my head.

Well, it is a catchy tune. Wear your tastes proudly, my friend. :)

34 is my itunes count on Down to Earth...
however, it's a 5 min 58 sec song so that doesn't include the count of partial listens....or turning up the volume on the projectors upstairs in the booth when the credits were running on the movie! :)

I know I've listened to it many more times than that, but it is a great song.

I'm wondering about buying the full version on iTunes (from the Hello Dolly soundtrack), but with the 30-second preview I'm not sure it's worth it.

Does anyone know if the song abrubtly changes or goes weird or something? Is there a reason, other than matching the film, that the soundtrack doesn't have the full version either? IS the only difference sound quality?

Nick,

The full song is about 5:30, and one of the reasons they cut it after the 30 seconds is because of Barbara Streisand and other members of the chorus, who might have demanded royalties or something. Give it a download, I say.

Thanks christopher, after your comment I went and found it on YouTube (over a Thomas the Tank Engine fan video no less) and I think it gets maybe a little too weird after the Pixar part (Streisand, kids choirs, etc.)

I have only had the album for 6 days, and have already beaten that.

Down to Earth is at 86 with me listening to it at the exact moment (so soon to be 87.

Hello Dolly is at 67.

I think I might be slightly obsessed.

Then again, I have seen WALL·E in the cinemas eight times in the past seven days aswell (animator myself so love to look at every little detail), plus the movie is amazing and the credits are beaut.

(Aussie, only got released in cinemas recently)
