The WALL-E script/screenplay can now be downloaded for free (in PDF format) from the Walt Disney Studios Awards website.Aimed at A.M.P.A.S. members, the site helps promote WALL-E (and other Disney releases) for Oscar consideration.
The reason for the script being offered is to boost its chances at being nominated in the Best Original Screenplay category.

Thanks for the link, Mike. I always love reading Pixar scripts, especially one written in such an unconventional format.
In response to simon, I'll bet they used "Wally" instead of "WALL-E" because it is quicker and easier to type. It's sounds like a silly reason, but having to type out "WALL-E" 500 times over the course of 95 pages kind of bogs down the writing process.
I can vouch for Acooper2's reply, it took me forever to get the correct spelling for Wall-E.

Wally is probably just his name, maybe how he thinks of it? And it's easier for pronunciation, considering that WALL-E's name used to just be WAL-E - the bottom of the first page after the title page shows it used to just be 'Waste Allocation Loader - Earth Class', rather than 'Load Lifter'.
My guess is, like how Eve's name is Eve, WALL-E's is technically Wally. Most script writing software these days formats for you, and allows for names to be saved, so that they can be brought up with just a few keystrokes. This is so that formating, and naming doesn't interrupt the flow of creativity.
Good Lord. I just wanted to read the first two pages and ended up reading up to page thirty-five. And it's 2:45 in the morning!
Nonetheless, thank you for posting this link. It's a beautifully written script. Best Original Screenplay's in the bag!

With WALL•E, I get why they would want to, but HSM3?
