A nice break from the news drought...Empire magazine (online and in print) brings us this exclusive still from Up (in theatres exactly five months from tomorrow!)
From the looks of it, Russell and Carl have already arrived in South America in this scene, and Carl is grumpy :) The rock formations seen in the background, though stylized, are typical of the Tepui mountains, that director Pete Docter said served as a major inspiration for the setting of the film.

It looks great! Hey is it true Brad Birds "1906" will be out in 2009?! Can this be accurate? Do you have any news on that front?
There hasn't been any news on 1906 in a while.
IMDb does list it as an '09 release, but I don't think so, unless it's for, like, December.
Sometime in 2010 is more likely, if you ask me...

I have no idea where, but I did read that 1906 would come out in December 09.
It really seems like it should take a lot less time than their other movies, so it makes sense
