Special 'Up' clip online

A short clip from Up (the first non-trailer footage we've seen) can now be enjoyed at Disney.com/Up. But it's hidden: You've got to click on Carl's house to watch it.

The clip is an extended version of the "Hi, Mr. Fredricksen... Please let me in!" scene included in the first theatrical trailer.

(via Upcoming Pixar)

I first saw this on Sunday, so I've seen it several times already. I believe Russell said a snipe. According to the dictionary, a snipe is a wading bird of marshes and wet meadows, with brown camouflaged plumage, a long straight bill, and typically a drumming display flight.

It would make sense that Russell would be following something that he thinks is an interesting bird like this, considering that he is a boy scout, and probably very interested in nature.

I was wondering the same thing. It sounded like a knife but I wasn't sure.

If anyone doesn't have time to wait for everything to load on the website, it's on youtube here:

I hate Flash websites. To sad that you always have to go through that loading #*&%§$ just to see a trailer.

Looks GREAT!!

And, actually..."snipe hunting" is a kind of practical joke that people play on one another. Kinda like sending someone on a wild-goose-chase! Wouldn't be surprised if the little guy was "duped" into lurking around the old man's house, and then their adventure begins?? Looks fun, either way!!
