'Up' spot to air during Super Bowl XLIII

Variety is reporting that Disney plans to air a special advertising spot for Pixar's Up during the Super Bowl next month. No specifics are yet available as "Disney is remaining tight-lipped about its Super Bowl strategy".

This follows in the footsteps of last year's spot, which starred Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, and trumpeted WALL-E to the millions of viewers (approximately 100 million in the U.S. alone) that watched the game on television.

The 43rd Super Bowl takes place on Sunday, February 1 and will be broadcast on NBC in the United States.

When I first saw last years spot I was in mid conversation with others in the room, and I stopped dead in my tracks when I randomly saw Buzz and Woody. I thought they were teasing Toy Story 3 for a sec.

I would die of laughter (in a good hyped way) if they did that again. and I really hope they do. I cant get enough of seeing new Buzz and Woody animation. even if it only lasts mere seconds.

Although I enjoyed last year's promo, I'm personally hoping for something different this year. I'd love to see an action-packed spot with Carl and Russell in the jungle, perhaps with a glimpse of some of the other characters.

Yeah! Like a really cool and inviting tease that will grab everyone within all ages like maybe a scene from the jungle. Where they are running or something thrilling and exciting happens so it will really catch your attention, like what happened to Kyle :)

This is the only reason (for me) to watch the superbowl.
