I saw this clip through the Disney-Pixar fan group page on Facebook. They advertise it as 'Exclusive' for the fan group.

try what Russel?

That's kinda strange.

Isn't that just like the Sony footage? (I hope this is the wrong footage, cause the Sony footage was FAR funnier.)

What's the difference between the sony footage and these?

PixarFanatic said...

S,

in the Sony one, there is no dialogue from Carl, Russell suddenly gets up once he falls and runs off, and the hose carries Carl up.

In this one, Carl does talk, and instead, he ends up getting up and doing something else. He didn't even run, and there was never the thing "I've always wanted to try this!"

That's the difference. Sorry that you can't look for yourself, but the Sony footage was deleted.

Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm confusing it with another scene, but I'm pretty sure Sony botched it UP.

Aw sooo cute!

Oh, and "acooper2" also said "something mighty familar" about this.

no more scratch voices + we see Russell walk off into the bushes after tying the house rope to a tree. the other footage i saw had Russell run off after seeing a bug, and Carl float away into the trees on the house.

I'm guessing when Russell says he's always wanted to try this, he means going to the bathroom in the woods and using those leaves as toilet paper if you get my drift. :)

Hey Mike, since you appear to love comments in big cases like this, I'm glad I was able to help out with that--due to the mix-up of the Sony footage.

By the way, do you yourself know if the Sony footage is a botch-up of this, or is it seperate?
