Looks great! If I ever find myself visiting a friend with a Blu-Ray player, I'll be sure to rent this title.
Actually, I never overlooked A Bug's Life--it's better then the original Toy Story. I'm serious.
Upcoming Pixar now reports that Up has ONE HUNDRED PERCENT on Rotten Tomatoes--more then Star Trek's 96 percent! I'm serious again. No joke. Don't believe me? Go to Upcoming Pixar yourself.
I need to buy this. I also need to buy a blu-ray player. That means I need money... [starts planning elaborate bank heist]
PixarFanatic: About Up's Rotten Tomatoes score, it's still too early to call. Only a handful of reviews have been counted by the site (all of which have been positive).
You'll be getting Tomatometer coverage here in the coming weeks closer to Up's release date.
I agree about it being too early to call, but I am sure that Up will remain in the high 90's once all of the 250 or so reviews are all in.
Star Trek, (which is now at 95% with 244 reviews, [233 fresh, 11 rotten]), held the 100% spot for quite a while there too, well past 20 reviews. Up is at 11 reviews currently, so it will be in the coming week that we should get a better picture from the Cannes Film Festival.
Interestingly enough, currently both Star Trek and Up have an average rating of 8.1/10. We gave Star Trek an average of four stars, and I am sure that Up will be the same. From what I can tell right now, it looks amazing. The fact that it has a PG rating makes me all the more excited for it.
Aw, drat.
Commentators on Upcoming Pixar prepared us for getting like 99 or 98 in the end.
