Kinda surprised by this actually! I guess it wouldn't make or break someone from going to see Up in theaters, but it is interesting that they would release this before the DVD/Blu Ray release.
Well, they did the same with Presto last year.
Yet, they don't have BURN-E...
when i went to watch Up, i didn't see it in theaters =[ sniff sniff,

Well if you consider it's one of the few ways Pixar can actually profit 'tangibly' from the shorts, it makes total sense.
Anyone know what resolution the release is at? Is it standard TV/Video res, or HD?
Doesn't matter for us in Australia - ripped off again... friggin hell.
It's standard def, unfortunately. You'll only have to wait a few months for it in HD though. ;)
i was so lucky when Ive received free tickets to the speacial screening of the new Disney treats " UP "..it was a very beautiful 3d movie Ive seen..its full of heart..also, the Partly Cloudy short film.. is also very entertaining.. It's great to have a different concept and ideas about the cloud itself.. its super fun. One thing for sure.. disney never failed to give its viewer a very good creation and still were able to leave a very importand message/lesson to every viewer.
