What could this be for? Jim Hill Media has discovered, and an independent WHOIS search confirms, that Disney Enterprises, Inc. registered the domain name monsters2.com on Wednesday, another sure sign that Pixar is working on a sequel to Monsters, Inc.
The domain monstersinc2.com remains owned (for the time being, at least) by an apparent domain squatter from Texas.

First, Docter has a denial/non-denial. Then you stumble upon some information. Then Blue Sky Disney says that it's true. Then IMDb lists Monsters Inc 2 on their site. Now this.
There is a sequel in the works.
Wow, that's mysterious... I had little to no doubt they'd make a sequel to Monsters Inc., but it's strange they'd do that so soon when it'll probably come out in 2013 in the least.
Leirin:
IMDb says it'll come out in 2012. Presumably sometime in November, since Newt is already slotted for June...
Now all that's left for them to do is actually come out and say "We're making the sequel," if only just to confirm what everybody already knows.
Now c'mon! Where's the official announcement already??? We all know it's coming!!! :-)
Yeah!
Could this be an imposter? I mean, it also says the Tiger King, Beverly Hills Chiuaua 2, and other things like that as domains, and I personally don't belive it... yet. If they set up a website, then yes, it's confirmed.
Leirin:
They are buying the domain name now so that someone else doesn't grab it and demand a large amount of money to let it go. "Monsters 2" isn't a copy writable phrase.
Why can I not access these sites? Have they been purchased but not utilized?
