Pixar tattoos

Last month, I posted on a couple who had a Pixar-themed wedding. At the time, that seemed like the height of Pixar fandom.

Well, just yesterday, a reader by the name of Matthew Locascio from Pasadena, California emailed me pictures of the two permanent tattoos he got recently, of Pixar favourites Woody (pictured at right) and Carl Fredricksen. "They are there for life, it's awesome!", he says.

I'm at a loss for words.

Here's an even better full color WALL-E tatoo:

Is there a photo of the Carl Fredricksen tatoo as well? In any case, that Woody looks fantastic! It's greyscale, but it's details are prominent. Really professional stuff. Times like these where I wish I wasn't afraid of needles. D:

pretty cool, art wise. but I'm definitely not the type that could live with a tatoo. I mean, as nitpicky as I am I would quickly start seeing the flaws, or little things that bug me and start regretting the whole thing.

for example, if I had this one, that little bit of shading next to his mouth on the left side, it looks odd to me, and the longer I had to start at it, the more it would stand out.

Well, if I wanted a Pixar tattoo, I would MOST DEFNITELY put Wall-E on one arm, and then, just for fun, a Bolt tattoo on the other arm. Maybe I could get a tattoo of Rhino as well...

P.S.

I don't want any tattoos, however.

I'd like to double the request to see the Carl picture considering how well done the Woody one is.

I've also looked at the above tattos and both the Mike W. and Wall-E tattoos are great too.

I am thinking about getting a Disney/Pixar sleeve. Can't decide if I want to just do characters from my favorites or someone from each movie. Probably someone from each movie, since I love them all. Then I can add to it as new movies come out!
