In related news, a Disney Consumer Products spokesperson informed me yesterday that there are indeed plans for a Toy Story Collection Jessie doll to "roll out in Spring/Summer 2010", something I had previously wondered about.

I love how serious he is about these toys. Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with that, which there isn't, but it's just kinda funny. Also: we saw a Slinky Dog being sold at a Disney shop in a mall, part of the Toy Story Collection series, and the box said "The Original Slinky Toy". But we owned the original Slinky Toy released back around the time of the first Toy Story, and it was different.
wow, my predicion was spot on for when they would release jessie. good to hear. I wonder when/if we'll hear about others planned.
what about bo peep and the sheep?? or slinky? or bullsye? or hamm?? i love what they've released so far but if they're gonna call it a collection there should actually be a "collection" instead of just 5 or 6 characters or whatever amount they have. i hope they'll add more than just jessie to the lineup!
I had a Thinkway toy spokesperson say November of this year for Jessie. There is a "regular" version of her at some Toys R Us stores right now.

And will we ever see a Prospector "Stinky Pete" doll? I'd love to see a recreation of his infamous box!
Jordan, they already made a version of stinky Pete in the 90s. I remember seeing him in the Disney store, complete with his box. Its been a long time so I couldn't tell you how accurate it was, but I know it exists.
But yeah, I'm sure a Toy Story Collection version would be way better.
Nerd question: Wouldn't this version of Woody come with a pistol in that holster?

someone told me next year there making a jessie, stinky pete, bullseye, and zurg
they really need to make!!!!!!! a toystory collection zurg!!! and a good accurate one with zurg vision and the gun pack that can shoot out pinballs trough the tube out the ion blaster... and make him light up and his eys stay lit up once you turn him on.. and has buttons somewhere to make him talk.... and they also need to make a anti gravity utilty belt add on for the toystory collection buzz lightyear.. :)
