Toy Story 3 character poster: Rex

This brand-new character poster for Toy Story 3, featuring fearsome dinosaur Rex, arrived on the web this evening at the Trailer Park MySpace blog and to my attention via Lee Unkrich (@leeunkrich on Twitter). Expect to see similar posters for each of the main characters soon.

This, of course, is the second poster for the film we've seen in recent weeks. Last month's minimalist teaser poster resulted in a bit of controversy in comments. In both posters, I love the use of only the '3', with the film's title omitted, as a tease.

By the way, in the same tweet Unkrich says that the new Toy Story 3 trailer (playing in cinemas with the Toy Story/Toy Story 2 double feature) will make its online debut Monday.

This movie's gonna be better than even the trailers make it to be! (though really, every Pixar movie is)

I wonder what the other posters will look like?

Do you know how can i buy a toy story collection buzz lightyear? I live in portugal, and i tried to buy from amazon, but they don't sell it for outside of the US. There's any way to buy it?

Posters could be really fun. In my opinion this is a thoughtless big blob of rex in a boring pose with a typical CG face expression.

John: You can buy the Toy Story Collection toys (including Buzz) online from the Disney Store. They ship to Portugal, but the shipping cost is $57.95 USD.

Hey Mike, what would you say is a better buy -- "The Pixar Touch" or "To Infinity and Beyond!: The Story of Pixar Animation Studios"? Christmas is coming up, and I've got a list to make! :)

Each book has its strengths. You really should read both to get the whole picture on Pixar's history.
