The cover for The Art of Toy Story 3 can now be viewed at Amazon.com and other online retailers where the book is available for pre-order.In line with Pixar's previous 'art of' volumes, the 176-page 'Art of Toy Story 3', written by animation historian Charles Solomon and published by Chronicle Books, will include over 250 pieces of concept art from the making of Toy Story 3. Also included will be a "special gatefold" of color scripts and an "extended introduction showcasing the art and story development" of the original Toy Story and Toy Story 2.
From the cover we learn that the foreward to the book will actually be written by director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson with a preface by John Lasseter.
The book's release date is now listed as May 26 on Amazon.com. Chronicle says "after Wednesday, May 12" on its website.
