The June issue of Wired magazine features Pixar and Toy Story 3 (read: Buzz and Woody) on its cover, with an article entitled "Animating a Blockbuster: How Pixar Built Toy Story 3", written by contributing editor Jonah Lehrer.
The piece looks at the process of making Toy Story 3 step-by-step, from Day 1 to Day 1,084. It includes quotes from Lee Unkrich, Darla K. Anderson, supervising animator Bobby Podesta, and supervising technical director Guido Quaroni.
Read it in print or online at Wired.com.

So Mike, what r your thoughts about 24 finale? Loved the clock going backwards to 00:00:00
I got that magazine to see the pixar article it was awesome
JM: The 24 finale was incredible. I did love the 00:00 clock. (You should follow me on Twitter for off-topic stuff.)
I do follow you, I'm @woodypride. In fact, you're the first person I started following on Twitter. I'm just sorry that the final was a little bit predictable. Rasjkub and Cherry Jones: they were outstanding.
What an amazing article. Thanks so much for posting it, Mike!
I don't think anyone's mentioned this ('cuz it's kinda taboo) but that well-seen concept art on the wall there depicts a scene at the end of the movie. I should know, since I "splurged" and bought the junior novelization by Jasmine Jones ($4.99).
Note to future commenters: Please direct off-topic stuff to @The_Pixar_Blog on Twitter. Thanks!
Shut up, Jordan, geeze! Why does it seem like everyone is trying to spoil the ending of this movie for me?!? Keep these things to yourself!
Jordan, why do you do it? In the "Look on the Sunnyside" post, you complain about spoilers yet hear you are trying to ruin the ending by attempting to show off. Don't, no one cares.
Anyway, it's great to hear in inner workings of Pixar. I mean, to take some 200 days just to storyboard. It's no wonder they outshine everyone else,
Excuse me, I apologize to Jordan for my outburst. I just got fed up with semi-spoilers.
...back on topic...
I went out and bought this issue at Safeway today. Boy, am I glad I did! The Pixar article was smaller than I wanted it to be (almost the same as the website, minus the timeline), and I already knew a lot about the Pixar process. However, there was a whole lot of other cool stuff in the magazine that I look forward to reading!
I'm still not convinced I need a Wired subscription, though.
