TIME published online a couple of hours ago an article on Toy Story 3, written by the newsmagazine's film critic Richard Corliss. Be warned that the piece does give away some surprises, right from the first paragraph."What's more potent [than the state-of-the-art CG animation] is the upping of the emotional ante. TS3 puts its characters and the moviegoing children who love them in their severest crisis yet. Not since the early Disney classics have cartoon characters faced so dire a threat with such heroic grace", Corliss writes about Andy's toys in the film.
TIME talked to director Lee Unkrich and executive producer John Lasseter, who describes how he and the other members of the studio "brain trust" reacted upon hearing the first draft of the story read: "By the end, I had tears streaming down my face. I looked around the table, and we all had tears."

Thanks for the warning, Mike. I can't wait to read it after I see the movie!
Same. I'm going to have to start making a separate folder of bookmarks to these articles that I can read after I see the film.
Has anyone read it and noticed the end where it says that next year there will be a short film that will feature the same characters? Does that mean we can expect a Toy Story mini-movie, or am I misunderstanding?
Is it a review, or not?
p.s: Just been delivert The Art of Toy Story 3 from Amazon.co.uk.....i don't know how much I can wait till I open it!
Mike: Have you received your copy of The Art of Toy Story 3 yet?
