Toy Story trilogy box set art

Box art for the 10-disc Toy Story trilogy Blu-ray/DVD set has been revealed on its Amazon.com product page. As you can see, the container for the discs features a fun wagon toy box theme. (I'm perplexed as to why evil Lotso was chosen to be the face of Toy Story 3 on the outside packaging.)

Its official name being the Ultimate Toy Box Collection, the box set includes Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Toy Story 3 on high-definition Blu-ray Disc, standard DVD, and as digital copies.

The set will be released the same day as the standalone Toy Story 3 Blu-ray/DVD —November 2, 2010.

Weird that they kept the same name as the old set that I purchased.

I'm definitely going to be buying this...but it really irks me that I have to pay for all three formats when I just want Blu-Ray. -.-

If I had money to waste, I would definitely be buying this, even though I already have TS 1 and 2, but, as is, I can only afford to get the single TS 3. I'll be plenty happy with that anyways.

I likewise am confused about the Lotso choice for the box. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to chose a character that was seen in all 3 movies? (Given that the boxed set is a collection of all Toy Story movies.) I also already have the other two, otherwise I'd probably end up buying it too. The digital copies and DVDs make it a very valuable collection in my opinion. Lotso though, maybe not so much.

They should make the box available on its own for those of us who bought the first 2 movies in March...

Lotso as the cover for Toy Story 3 is a big mistake. It shouldn't be a villain and should be someone as iconic as Woody and Buzz. We could have Woody for TS1, Jessie for TS2 and (Spanish) Buzz for TS3, or after Woody and Buzz are on separate covers for the 1st two films, we could have both of them (or a trio with Jessie) for TS3.

I will still buy this of course.

I like how everyone is complaining that Lotso is on the cover, but no one complains when Darth Vader is on the box art for the Star Wars trilogy.

Just got mine on Amazon for under $60. :)

Why is Lotso now a lovable character? He was an evil autocratic bear who didn't save those who saved him. Now we see him on the boxed set and He is in Disney Parks.
