USPS to release Pixar character stamps

Briefly: As part of its 2011 commemorative stamp program, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will release five stamps featuring characters from Pixar's Cars, Ratatouille, Toy Story, Up, and WALL-E.

The stamps will go on sale August 19, in a 20-stamp pane, and are marked as valid "Forever".

These look great! Do you know if they will be available at Canadian post offices as well (since you can buy stamps for other countries)?

I guess 'forever' stamps are the US version of our 'permanent' stamps here? Even if the post value goes up, you can continue using them!

Anonymous: Canada Post might have them. If not, you should be able to order them online.

Not until August 19? That's quite a ways away.

That's awesome!

I'd like to hear about how it was decided which characters would go on the stamps.

These are US issued stamps and will not be sold by Canada Post. You will need to cross into the US to buy them.
