Whoever edited this deserves a promotion. It deftly balances the action and comedy aspects of the movie. How could anybody not look forward to seeing Cars 2 after watching this?

I. CANNOT. WAIT.
Gaaaah, another 4 months. Seems like an eternity.
That is just epic. I can't wait!
Gotta say, this does nothing for me, and I'm a big Pixar fanboy
"instead of saying ka-chow is gonna go ka-boom"
"I'm sticking by you the way you always stick by me"
Wow the dialogue in this is definitely lame...
What happened to you Pixar, why did you lose your way? And that's to say nothing of the Japanese bathroom humor....
And believe me, I really liked the original Cars
SKREEEM!!! This movie is going to be one of Pixar's best. The production for this one does for certain look like the best they've ever done.
Mike, any idea when the theatrical trailer is coming?
What happened to you, Fblog? Why did you lose your sense of humor?
I don't call that humor...
Seriously guys, this looks so bad.
It is not funny, the plot looks boring...
How can you be excited about this TV spot?
Anonymous #4, do you have no good taste in movies? Or did you simply watch the wrong TV spot? What I saw was a riveting and exciting TV spot that has pumped me up for June 24. MIDNIGHT SHOWING ANYONE?!!
wow, cars 2!!! cant wait to see it either. i just loved the first one n i am sure i will love it too!!!!
The Japanese bathroom jokes were pretty well-placed. I bet they smartly saved time and money by re-using the Japan sets from Tokyo Mater for this film's Japanese scenes.
Looks pretty good. I'm a little disappointed by some of the jokes, esp. the toilet humor, but the beginning looked super cool.
I definitely don't intend to judge the movie by a TV spot. I've been disappointed by TV spots before, but ended up loving the finished product.
I'm with Darrell all the way!! Roll on June 24!
I'm still on the fence about it... Overall it does seem very meh, but in the few times I've watched this spot, "Is the Popemobile Catholic?" gets me everytime. Here's hoping for a Popemobile cameo!!
"Are you ready?"
"Is Pope-mobile Catholic?"
LMAO
this looks like great babysitter material - my 3 year old will love it!!!!!!!!
TERRIFIC TRAILER! Midnight showing - I'll definitely be there.
Cars is the Pixar film I've liked the least. Now Cars 2 looks like an absolute snoozefest. It pains me to admit that I have zero interest in this film. Even my kids have no interest in seeing it. This marks the first time ever that they haven't begged me for months to take them to the newest Pixar movie. It's gonna be a LONG LONG wait to 2012 for Brave and Monsters Inc 2 (which I have high hopes for since Monsters Inc was the most creative and original Pixar film). Sigh.
I want this to be good, but everything I've seen so far just makes me groan.
"Snoozefest?" Seriously, how many people are watching the wrong TV spot? I suppose if the type of humor here isn't up their alley, that's alright... but it looks exciting! Seriously, you should try and watch the theatrical trailer (or wait until the second theatrical trailer comes out--that'll be the best) if you're hating this.
This is the umpteenth time that Pixar releases a trailer that is not remotely revealing, and then surprises us all with what they have in store. The Cars trailer in 2006 really just scratched the surface of the real story (bits and parts were even misleading, too!). So based on history + this TV spot, I have very high hopes for an absolutely masterpiece final product!
I'm so afraid this might be Pixar's slip-up... Making a sequel to Cars was a downright terrible idea to begin with, but now? Gah....
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! i wish june would come quicker:D:D:D
Come on guys, have some faith! It's pixar after all! I bet it will be great!

seriously, you need to remember that this movie is targeted at the little ones and because it's a sequel, it's even more focused on child humor. it does seem a little too cheesy, but i'm totally going to watch it anyways.
Anonymous #11, are you crazy? Pixar's films are always not targeted just at the younger crowd, but made to please adults and even young adults. Besides, Cars 2 might turn out to be a little intense for the "little ones," based on what I've seen so far.
Glad you'll be seeing it anyways. Then you can be proved wrong.
I don't think Anonymous #11 ever mentioned that all Pixar movies are targeted at children...just Cars 2. But i also disagree with Anonymous #11.
From what i've seen, it looks like rather than child humor it's more like Dreamworks humor what we'll be watching this summer. However, that's my opinion based on the trailers i've seen... Pixar has already proved me wrong three times [Ratatouille, UP, Toy Story 3], because their trailers have failed to made a good impression on ME. Besides, in two of these cases -after the release of the last official trailer [UP and Toy Story 3]- i'd find myself marking the calendar, counting down the days until the theatrical release... So... all i can say is, i'm waiting for the next trailer to get excited about Cars 2.
Oh, by the way, Raoul ÇaRoule ROCKS!!!
This movie will be just divisive among Pixar fans, just like the first Cars, I can tell. The ones who adore the first will LOVE this (me!!!!), and the rest will say Meh, just like they did.
Anyway, onwards and upwards.
really i dont know if i should be exited or confused about this movie but i still can't wait to see it
