This set of four retro-inspired Cars 2 posters showed up online this morning at Empire.
I'm still waiting to confirm who the artist is, if an individual is to be credited.
At first glance, I thought these were by Eric Tan, who has created retro posters for Pixar before, most recently for Up. But now I'm hearing that that may not be the case.
Regardless, all four posters are very cool. The London- and Tokyo-themed designs are the ones I'd most like to hang on my wall. You?

Update: Pixar's publicity department tells me: "The original inspiration for these "vintage racing posters" came from Harley Jessup at Pixar. However, there were many people who had a hand in the illustration, design and finishing of this art within the Disney and Pixar team."

Those are awesome posters,I would like to hang then in my room:)
Simply awesome. London- is my favorite. "Porto Corso" reminds me of "Porco Rosso" from Studio Ghibli. :)
Is there any website you would recommend for buying Pixar retro posters? (not from one movie in particular, i'm interested in all of them..)
Thx!
AAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWEEEEEESSSSSSSOOOOOMMMMMEEE!!!!!!!!! I want the four of them!!! Jeez! Pixar has this lovely way of making me want to watch Cars 2 even when i didn't trust in the project at first glance.
Anonymous: The Disney Store?
Am I the only one horrified by the gaping chasm that is the kerning between the K and Y in TOKYO?
These are great posters. I want to get them all!
Question! I have these 4 posters, but they don't say the "June 24" on them. Does that mean that they aren't worth anything?
