Yeah, they always have to rush them out in order to coincide with the release of the film. They always end up half-assed, occasionally three/quarter-assed but never more than that.
Would just like to point out this is made by the Disney-owned Avalanche, who actually consults with Pixar unlike THQ. They made the excellent Toy Story 3 game.
There have been some pretty decent Pixar games in the past (not great, but decent). I think because they're developed within the Disney corporation before, they tend to get information earlier than they otherwise would. Also, they are used to working under such deadlines.

I like that isn't all racing. The spy aspect could be a nice twist, and the environments look pretty big. Nice!
It's basically a law of the universe that 90% of movie based games are awful.

Mike, there was a brief cameo by Lotso in The Simpsons. Not news, I guess, since THE SIMPSONS love their Pixar shout-outs

I remember playing the original Toy Story game for the Genesis, now THAT was a breakthrough game!
Anyone think Cars 2 might wind up delayed?
With all the tragedy going on in Japan right now, maybe a Tokyo-centric Cars movie, might seem inappropriate.
