If you thought the latest English-language trailers for Cars 2 were exciting, well, hahahahaha. You ain't seen nothing yet! A new Japanese trailer, with many never-before-seen shots from the film, is up on Disney.com/Cars.
Titled "Japan Trailer 2", this preview couldn't be more action-packed. The extended heart-pounding scenes just about guarantee the film will be the third in Pixar's history to receive a PG rating from the MPAA.
If you were skeptical about John Lasseter's comment that Cars 2 "is not a parody of a spy movie. [It] is a spy movie," you won't be after watching this.
Being aimed at the Japanese market, this trailer also features lots of scenes from Lightning McQueen and Mater's adventure in Tokyo. Sad to think what people in Japan are going through in the real world right now.
Once you're done watching, please come back here with your comments.

It looks very exciting. I am becoming more and more interested in "Cars 2" than I was before. It looks like it might even rival "The Incredibles" in terms of action. All the thrill of a James Bond movie with our favorite characters from "Cars"! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, this is definitely the most exciting trailer so far! I'm actually getting pumped for this movie, which I wasn't sure I would.
you got me thrilled for a minute when i read that headline, but the trailer is exactly the same as the extended one. nothing new really, except some scenes from tokyo and mcmissile jumping doing karate.
BOOM! That got me excited, despite the fact that at times I couldn't understand what they were saying and I wish I could. You're right, Mike, one can tell that this is going for a PG rating... especially with scenes like McMissile blowing up those cars in the beginning. "Whoo... that was a close one!"
But then, considering that TS3 escaped a PG rating, we probably shouldn't hold our breath...
The trailer on the website is taking quite a while to load. So, I was wondering if you could link me to the trailer on YouTube if there is one. Thank You!
I have only seen the first trailer. Thanks for the warning though - should be a good surprise when I walk into theaters.
I'm really excited for this movie!
It's going to be amazing!
