I haven't liked any of these retro posters they've been releasing. Somehow none of them seem to really capture the era they're going for, and all seem slightly off-kilter.
Also, all the cars have angry expressions, even the good guys. What's up with that?
I guess the "Bentley" copyright is for the "Big Bentley" clock tower? I don't think any of the characters on those posters are based off Bentleys.
Finn's breating piece is just a subtle reminder that these living cars need to breathe air, and thus must have some sort of biological set of organs mixed in with their engines. Otherwise, why and how are there tongues?
Both are amazing - on the right side poster, notice how Finn's headlight makes a radar grid-circle? And the ground in the one on the left reminds me of the Union Jack pattern from the flag.
@Anonymous: I have seen that drawing before, as I'm sure many Cars fans have. I think I first saw it in a link on the IMDb boards, but I have a feeling that it originated on deviantART.
