Embedded above, the "ad" is accessible through cars-n-deals.com. The link first appeared on the Twitter feed @ChromeLeaks, which Mashable reports was being promoted at WonderCon in San Francisco over the weekend.
Without spoiling the experience by telling you exactly where, a single frame of the video contains a URL to a shockingly cool extended clip from Cars 2, posted on YouTube as an unlisted video. If you're stumped, call the phone number shown on-screen and listen closely.
All very smart. Let's hope this is part of a bigger campaign and there's more videos to come. I love the whole tasteless dealership commercial shtick. A character cameo with one of the lemons would be hilarious. And make it more challenging.

This was funny and well done! I'm watching the extended clip right now. :D
Wow. Very clever!
I am on the hunt, but who would include their own A113 license plate with their old car? I know I do not want to part with mine.
Ahgh omg I found it and I only had to watch the video twice. I feel like I just found a secret treasure. Which I kind of did. It rocks. I think this is going to be a lot better than what some people are making it out to be.
Catch the A-113 reference? Mighta missed it but it's a numberplate.
As testament to my half-asleep status, the A-113 thing was very blatant and intentional. Won't say why.
I wonder what all the background action is for? Spy cameras in old cars, people turning invisible, strange maps on monitors... What does it all mean?
Hey Mike,
Do you have any idea what the website is to watch that clip?
I called the number and heard the URL but couldn't make it out except for ".com" part
Keep me posted please :D
Nevermind Mike,
I found it...
SO AWESOME!
I already ruined the experience for myself. I saw the hidden video in my subscriptions box on YouTube before it was unlisted. Evidently it takes a few minutes for the video to become unlisted, because I watched it early. Lol.
Yeah, now that was a great way to pep up a Monday morning! Loved it. And it was fun to find the address.
After seeing that clip...officially excited for Cars 2.
Seriously can't find the link. Seriously getting upset now.
The fake clip was funny in its own right.
The hidden clip, however, was quite enjoyable, though we'd seen a lot of it in the trailers already. I found the "blow-torch" part quite amusing.
Then what happens tu Finn McMisile?!?!?!?!?! I DEMAND AN EXPLANATION!!! Wooow... Very nice post... From the tacky ad to the Cars clip! Loved it! And that's BEAUTIFUL music by Michael Giacchino!
Anyone else notice that Finn is hidden somewhere at the end of the video?
I thought the URL would be super-imposed on a license plate or something, but thankfully it was a little easier than that. :) Awesome clip!
It's time for a "sale-a-bration."
