With only three weeks left until opening day, another new Cars 2 clip and featurette have been released on the Disney/Pixar YouTube channel.
The featurette serves up a helping of thrilling, never-before-seen footage from the film, as well as comments by John Lasseter, Brad Lewis, Michael Caine, Larry the Cable Guy, Emily Mortimer, and Owen Wilson.
And watch out for a certain famous in-joke.
The "Meet Finn" clip is set at the Tokyo airport, where Finn disguises himself as a security officer to introduce himself to Mater and plant a surveillance device. We've seen the end of the clip ("Tow Mater, average intelligence") in the trailers.

These featurettes are so much more exciting than the lackluster "Cars 2" previews showing in theaters.
And I'm not sure how I feel about that. Pixar always keeps the best stuff hidden for the actual movie, which is great, but I wish they designed their previews in a way that didn't make me so anxious.(Anxious in the sense that I can't tell how good the movie will be.)
But Pixar always comes through, so I'm hoping for something great.

I really am trying not to spoil myself here. T__T My hype meter is a lot higher than it was for Toy Story 3, and so, I'm trying to hold it down as much as I can.
