Winnie the Pooh in theatres today

There hasn't been much Pixar news lately, but look on the bright side: Disney's new Winnie the Pooh feature is playing at over 2,400 theatres today!

Executive produced by John Lasseter, Pooh is Disney's best treatment of these beloved characters and stories in years. A must-watch for animation lovers.

Read my review of the film at The Disney Blog and share your comments there.

I'm seeing it tonight! I'm really looking forward to it. This could be the first year ever, where the year's Disney film is better than the year's Pixar film. Although Pixar did set the bar pretty low this year with Cars 2. But yeah, Pooh was a childhood favourite, and it's great to see a new Pooh movie that sticks close to the original source material. Plus, it's the first traditionally animated film in theatres that I'll get to see in a while. I saw Princess in the Frog, but I didn't get around to seeing The Illusionist.
