Cars 2 will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on November 1 with previously unreported bonus: a brand new Cars Toon entitled Air Mater.
Entertainment Tonight just posted a first look at a clip from the short, which you can watch above. (Replaced with HD version via YouTube.)
In addition, the five-disc combo pack will feature a 'sneak peek' at the massive Cars Land attraction under construction at Disneyland in California.

Oh joy. That's just what we need, more Mater, and more Cars. I find all of this to be seriously depressing. Cars 2 didn't stop me from becoming a Pixar fan, but it sure made me loose a lot of faith in the studio. And "Carsland?" Seriously?

I was musing on Cars 2 last night and realised my favorite sequence was the bathroom fight. I was most impressed with how they made a brawl between cars in a cars bathroom seem like a realistic spy-movie fight - -it was believable. What does this have to do with Air Mater? Absolutely nothing.
Where is Lightning McQueen?? I hate how Mater is the star of the Cars franchise now. It totally doesn't work, and doesn't suit his character. He was perfect for what he was in the first movie, and its a shame on McQueen basically just made cameos in the sequel. Out of all the three year olds I've seen drooling over Cars, they WANT Lightning McQueen! NOT the the idiot tow truck. No wonder why Cars 2 was a mediocre success

Yay! More Mater for a change! I agree with all the previous comments, except for the part of me losing faith in the studio and Brent's comment. My favorite part was the beginning lol
