Awards Daily has brought online several For Your Consideration ads for animated films—they're some of the brightest this season. More are sure to be around the corner.
Disney's done a great job with the ads for Cars 2 and Winnie The Pooh; ditto Paramount with The Adventures of Tintin.

It's going to be an interesting year for the Best Animated Feature award.
'Winnie the Pooh' was simply wonderful, which I think has a very high chance of taking it. 'Puss in Boots' was surprisingly well done, I actually really enjoyed it. 'Cars 2' I actually did enjoy, despite the many negative reviews. But I'm really not sure if Pixar can win it or not.
I haven't seen 'Rango', so can't say. 'The Adventures of Tintin' does look interesting, we'll see if it lives up to the hype. In any case, it'll be quite the interesting year.
go winnie the pooh! the movie i enjoyed the most, 2d is not dead!
Rango.
Rango will win by conventional logic just because of how artsy it was. The Academy loves that stuff.
I also think it was the best-made movie of the bunch, but Tintin hasn't come out here yet, so maybe that will be better.
Imagine if Speliberg won for Both Best Picture and best animated film? that would be soooo boss
Tintin & War Horse. wow i think he can pull it off
Winnie the Pooh FTW.
(Yes, I did just use that internet meme.)
Go Winnie the Pooh!...I hope it wins...Best film of the year!
Rango should win. They showed the most innovation and as a film, it stands apart from the other re-hashes.
Looking forward to seeing Tintin. Haven't seen Puss in Boots either. But Winnie-the-Pooh and Rango were both great. In a way, I'm kind of rooting for Pooh, because it would be great to see another traditionally animated film win the Oscar. There hasn't been one since Spirited Away.
I'd be happy if any of those films won; I don't have unusually strong feelings for one of them over all the others - they're all great (and I've only seen 2 of the 5 here so far.)
I LOVED Rango. Thought it was the most amazing animated movies since Wall-E. I love that hyper-real style, and the character designs were phenomenal. The writing and the acting and gags were all great too.
I enjoyed Winnie the Pooh a great deal too. Wouldn't mind if it won, but wasn't it only like 40 minutes long? Felt very very short to me. That may not affect academy voters but as someone who dropped $10 to see a 40 minute movie in theaters I felt a little cheated.
