Lasseter Family Winery Open for Visits this Weekend

The Lasseter Family Winery will be opening its doors to the public for the first time this Friday and Saturday, November 25 and 26.

Admission is $25 per person and includes tastings of all four current wines. Seating for the event is limited and reservations must be made in advance.

More information can be found on the winery's new blog, Entre Nous.

Located in Glen Ellen, CA, the winery was founded by Pixar creative chief John Lasseter and his wife Nancy in 2002. Their first wines went on sale in early 2009.

I wonder if they're selling any wine bottles with Ratatouille labels. That would be so cool...

That would be ultra cool, but don't count on it.

Disney was going to sell some Ratatouille-branded Chardonnay through Costco in 2007 (not LFW), but got into trouble with groups that felt that would be marketing alcohol to kids. The bottles never made it to shelves.

Irks me like you wouldn't believe.
