Tangled Ever After Clip & Synopsis

Disney has released a clip from Tangled Ever After, which will be attached to Beauty and the Beast 3D beginning January 13. Watch it below in HD via YouTube.

The short is set during Rapunzel and Flynn's wedding day, following the events of Tangled. It appears that having a horse be your ring bearer is not such a good idea!

Here's an excerpt from the official synopsis:

The Kingdom is in a festive mood as everyone gathers for the royal wedding of Rapunzel and Flynn. However, when Pascal and Maximus, as flower chameleon and ring bearer, respectively, lose the gold bands, a frenzied search and recovery mission gets underway.

As the desperate duo tries to find the rings before anyone discovers that they’re missing, they leave behind a trail of comical chaos that includes flying lanterns, a flock of doves, a wine barrel barricade and a very sticky finale. Will Maximus and Pascal save the day and make it to the church in time? And will they ever get Flynn’s nose right?

I can't wait to see this! The description seems to indicate this will be more of a Wacky Animal Sidekick kind of short, though. I'd like to see Flynn and Rapunzel have a big part in the action.

I'll definitely be very happy with this if it does centre on Maximus and Pascal, I mean I do like Flynn and Rapunzel don't get me wrong but that Maximus and Pascalcan't talk just means some great character animation which is always exciting stuff.

I elected not to watch any spoilers for the short, but the premise sounds very funny. Maximus is my favorite character from Tangled, so I'm very eager to see it.

Seriously? This is the plot: Missing rings. And hilarity ensues?

This was a sub plot for a Friends episode years ago, and was pretty funny for the 20 minutes it lasted. But as a full featured movie story I'm not seeing the attraction.

Doug - it's just a short film. ;) 7 minutes.

It's a 5 minute short. Not a film.

OK- My Bad! It was not clear to me that it was to be a short film. Not something Disney has done much in the past so I wasn't expecting to read it I guess.. Must be the Pixar influence seeping in. That makes a lot more sense as a storyline now...
