We should give it to Cars 2, if only to shut up the haters.

Definitely not Darrell, Tintin was by far the best animated movie I saw this year, they deserve it.

Haven't seen it yet... and I'll probably wait until it's out on DVD to do so. I keep hearing all these great things about it, but so far it doesn't look up my alley.

And when I said it, that didn't mean I thought Cars 2 was absolutely the best animated movie of the year--I just wanted Cars 2 to finally win such an award to shut up the haters. (It's still a great movie, though!) Either Kung Fu Panda 2 or Rango would have to be the best animated movie of the year, in my estimate.

I think Rango was miles ahead of Tintin (and even Kung Fu Panda 2 has a slight edge). However, I like them all, and it's all opinion.

Both Tintin and Cars 2 suffered from too much action and not enough story. I'll be disappointed if either one wins.

This isn't for best animated film, it's for best Producer of an animated film. Just because they might think Tintin was the best animated film doesn't mean that the producer was good.

Great year for DWA, 2 animation movies, both praised by critics, allthough, money wise, they're condidered a little disappointment, but at least, THEY BEAT THAT JUMPING LAMP!! The moon boy is probably thinking about the golden eggs that will be showered into his inner peace. Again, his dream works...

How does one judge how well the producer of a film did? How do you compare a good producer to a bad producer?
