This new teaser one sheet poster for Walt Disney Animation Studio's Wreck-It Ralph landed online today on the movie's official Facebook page. (Hopefully a trailer isn't far behind.)
The pixelated design, inspired by the 8-bit video games of yesteryear, is strikingly different than every other poster out there. It's the best animated film poster so far this year. But will audiences get it?
Wreck-It Ralph hits theatres November 2.

I feel they'll get it, I've seen vaguer.
If you have to question if audiences will get it, how can it be year's best poster?
This movie looks fantastic. Put aside the various video game cameo's, or even the fact that it's video game inspired at all. It's doing something that Despicable Me and Megamind didn't do. Instead of having a villain who's become a villain because of personal issues and problems in their life... this guy is just a villain because of circumstance. He's the villain because he literally has to be. He's been designed to be. Does that make him a bad guy though? Nope!
Awesome! I seriously can't wait!
If You Read The Movies Plot, This Movie Is Gonna Be The Video Game Character Version Of Who Framed Roger Rabbit! Speaking Of Which, I Wonder What The Movie Tie-In Video Game Will Be Like?
Cant wait - this is one of the new unique ideas of the year that really caught my eye.
The target audience will get it. The REAL targeted audience - gamers. I love this poster.
I'm itching to see it now, hearing so many comments that it's going to be really great. And likewise, can't wait to see Paperman, which from what I understand is incorporating/ blending both 2d and 3d animation (and I think I heard somewhere something about mo-cap?) Can anyone offer any more info?
