The highly anticipated teaser trailer for Pixar's Monsters University arrived online early this morning. Enjoy the "Pony" version below in HD via Disney/Pixar on YouTube.
There are actually another three slightly different versions out there at iTunes Movie Trailers, The Huffington Post, and Yahoo! Movies. They all end with Mike Wazowski as a fraternity disco ball.

Yup, this I can certainly get behind even though it's kinda having to go back because you can't go forward in terms of concept. Eitherway, it'll be good back in Mostropolis even if a relatively gangly Sulley is just really weird-looking in a way I didn't expect him to be.
Anyway, what's your view Mike? You excited by this?
While I agree the new look for the characters takes some getting used to, I can't wait to see it.
This is hilarious!
The animation looks kind of cheap.
Was this kind of a side-project?
Maybe that's why they originally had two movies for 2013.
Anonymous: or perhaps the teaser itself was a side project. I'm assuming it is using footage that isn't in the movie.
Anonymous: It's A Pixar Tradition To Make Trailers Without Footage From The Movie In It!
Just want to point out that the Youtube version reached $1 million views in one day. It bodes ill to all the naysayers eh? This movie will be so hyped up when the promotion goes into full swing next year.
Am I the only one skeptical about this? I think a film like this could be really funny, but it'll have to do with how well they build the tension between Mike and Sulley. Also, the parallel to the first movie in the trailer looked kinda...cheap. It does seem to be a made-for-trailer animation however, and the final film could be quite good.
I didn't find the animation to be as poor as made out here at all, I think what's throwing people off is that Sulley and Mike have both fallen into their own odd little uncanny valley due to the tweaks they've had to make them look younger.
I wonder if they made their YouTube version of the trailer be the "Pony" one to attract bronies like me. Speaking of which, BronyCon is happening right now! http://bronycon.com/
