Brand New Concept Art From Pixar's Upcoming Features

We start off 2013 with (mostly) new concept art from Pixar's next four feature films. You can see all the artwork at ComingSoon.net, which received it in a card from the studio.

But it's this one from The Good Dinosaur (May 30, 2014) that really puts all the others to shame. It's possibly the most wonderful piece of art to come out of Pixar since Teddy Newton's "The Jumper" from The Incredibles. This movie is going to be gorgeous.

Meh, none of these really strike me. Don't get me wrong, I'm REALLY looking forward to the movie that takes place inside the mind...but considering the concept, I was expecting something more ambitious. We shall see the end result, I guess.

And yes, I'm looking forward to the Dinosaur and Day of the Dead films...even if one is perhaps a little too reminiscent of Grim Fandango...coincidence that Steve Purcell, a former Lucas Arts employee, works at Pixar...hmm..
