The first TV spot for Monsters University aired this afternoon in the United States during the Rose Bowl telecast and has just gone up on YouTube. It smartly doesn't mention the movie, only the fine educational institution of the same name. Watch—

OH.MY.GOO!! The lighting is completely gorgeous! The rendering quality is just SUPERB! Looks like Pixar's gotten back to its good old habit of outdoing themselves.

I can see where you're coming from, but remember the prequel takes place years before the events of Monsters, Inc. It's a distinct story.
I actually saw this when I saw Monsters Inc. 3D on Dec. 27. You know what I would like more though? A Trailer. FOR ONCE.
