As for Tintin winning this Golden Globe, well, I don't agree. For me Tintin was just epic action with very poor character development (yep, even Haddock) but that's just me. If I could name a winner, I would've picked Arthur Christmas. That's how a good movie looks like (to me).

Rango stood no chance here...the HFPA just do not like/understand westerns or even pseudo-westerns:

Unforgiven won top honors for Supp Actor (Hackman) and Director (Eastwood), but in true HFPA fashion, split on picture, which went to the Al Pacino-snoozer Scent of a Woman.
