Mike Bastoli has been covering animation since 2007. Until 2011, he focused solely on Pixar Animation Studios, and this site was known as The Pixar Blog. In 2009, The New York Times called it “the definitive unofficial chronicler of the animation powerhouse.”
Mike is a staff writer at The Disney Blog, where he occasionally reviews non-animated Disney films. His other interests include consumer electronics maker Apple, the music of The Beatles, and about a thousand other things. He resides near Toronto.
